The Art of Business Luncheon is entitled Great American Entrepreneur-Collectors, featuring Dr. Helga Kessler Aurisch, Curator of European Art at the Museum of Fine Arts Houston.
She will detail how some of the 20th century’s captains of industry amassed European masterpieces for their personal collections.
Eventually, these works made their way to museums, including MFAH, where they are available for everyone to enjoy. The luncheon offers a fascinating peek into the personalities and the process.
