FACC General Assembly 2019

The French American Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce its General Assembly May 1st at Rice University.

This year Gwenaelle Avice-Huet, Executive Vice President, supervising France Renouvelables and Hydrogen Business Units at Engie will introduce the Topic on the Energy Transition and How Engie is taking a step forward in that transition.

Gwenaelle Avice-Huet is a graduate of the Ecole Normale Supérieure de Lyon, a graduate in Physics and Chemistry, holds a DEA in Molecular Chemistry from the Ecole Polytechnique and is an engineer of the Corps des Ponts et Chaussées.

She began her professional career in 2007 in the General Secretariat for European Affairs, an office of the French Prime Minister, then in the office of the French Minister for Ecology, Energy, Sustainable Development and Town and Country Planning.

She joined the ENGIE Group in 2010 as Director of European Affairs. Since 1 January 2016, she has been Chief Executive Officer of the ENGIE Renewable France BU.
